Description
Dark blue leather covered wooden box. Contains 39 three-and-a-quarter-inch square lantern slides of astronomical subjects, both photographic and non-photographic, many in a numbered R.A.S. series with printed labels. Those from actual astronomical photographs bear dates from 1892 to 1901 and various observatories or photographers, including Wilson, Ritchey, Gill, Roberts, and Kearney. They include images of comets, galaxies and Jupiter.
