Description

A small screwbarrel microscope without a handle. Instrument has a sprung stage and an inbuilt eyepiece. There are three un-numbered objectives, one of which is in position at the end of the screwbarrel. The instrument is stored in a case with a black fishskin coating and green velvet lining. An ivory talc box is stored in the case. Other items present but not original are tweezers, copper alloy bar with three lens apertures for a solar microscope, and a glass slide with specimen of wood and an electron picroscope grid.
