Description

Marconi Bellini-Tosi Direction Finder, with double index, copper and steel? cylindrical rotating core and dovetailed teak case (sides cut away to reveal interior). Topped by ebonite surface with bakelite knob and dial marked "DIRECTION FINDER" (scale 0-360). With ten brass terminals: a pair on the left hand side (marked "TO RECEIVER TERMINALS & TUNING CONDENSER TERMINALS") and four pairs on the right-hand side (marked "A" - "H"). Accompanied by paper leaflet stating "Part of Marconi-Bellini-Tosi System Wireless Direction Finder Pat.I907". Previously associated and catalogued with Tuning Condenser and Album of Direction Finder (Inv. Nums. 75237, 34635) .
