Description

Metalette' inverted reflected light microscope by Baker. This inverted microscope is finished in grey enamel and stands on a circular housing. Controls to move the optical components for focusing are set on the base along with a reflector to direct light from its source to the stage via the objective. The optical unit is mounted below the stage. It The instrument has a monocular tube with an eyepiece and rotating objective changer. Three of the five sockets hold objectives. The circular stage is set at the top of the instrument.

It The instrument packs into a cylindrical plastic carrying case, with moulded recesses for holding accessories. Also contained within the case are four plastic containers for holding objectives and two metal adjusting keys.
