Description

Reflecting objective (No. 4049) x 36 NA 0.5 objective with cover-glass correction collar in fitted case, with instruction leaflet.

One of two (see Inv 10722) produced in conjunction with the Wheatstone Laboratory and the Medical Research Council's Biophysics Research Unit, King's College London, c.1957.

Designed to be chromatic-error free and to transmit all radiations from the infra-red to the ultra-violet. See Beck 1957 brochure for more detailed specifications.
