Description

Oblong album bound in brown quarter-leather and grey cloth, entitled on front 'Views of Works'. 37 photographs, beginning with a photograph of an artist's impression of Century Works from the air (by George W. Bromwich, 1919), the rest being interior views of the factory, including not only workshops and assembly shops but also offices, staff rooms, and the medical room, two of the photographs dated September 1919. The photographs are all good black-and-white gelatine prints (a few with sepia discoloration), and each is neatly captioned in white.
