Description

Albumen print mounted on card, cabinet format. Studio portrait of two girls (sisters), one seated and one standing, full length, in outdoor costume with hats and mufflers. Sepia colour. Severe crease. The photograph belonged to Miss Hilda Monk, one of the subjects, who was a friend of the donor, and was born about 1890. Mr Riza's inscription on the back is recent, so the date of 1895 should be taken as approximate.
