Description
In MS Underhill 3, between ff.7 and 8, top, entomological sketchbook of H. M. J. Underhill. One of two (this is figure 4, the other contains figures 1, 2, 3, and 5) small cyanotype or blueprint copies of microscopical entomological drawings by Underhill, inserted into one of his entomological sketchbooks. The drawing is a version of the adjacent drawing of the same date on f.7v. The blueprint copies are presumably nearly contemporary. Underhill tried various photographic and duplicating methods for reproducing his drawings.
