Gelatine print. Portrait of Bernard Friedman, seated at a table half-length, turned to right and looking front, using a Nikon binocular microscope, a pipe in his mouth. Horizontal format; approximately 8 by 10 inches. Friedman, of New York, was a fellow of the RMS and President of the New York Microscopical Society. Accompanied in the archive by a 1968 press release announcing his appointment to the board of directors of Waldemar Medical Research Foundation, New York.
