Description

A precision weighing instrument. The balance is contained in a wooden case with a drawer with contents to base. Contents of the drawer include a beam, needle and four pans which form part of the chemical balance; three sealed tubes of mercury; paper parcel wrapped in string; an envelope containing human hair; ball on a needle; cylindrical small card box; tube possibly containing 'purest bergamotte essence'; three scoops and a paper note.
