Description

?Gelatine print, brown toned, or carbon print, mounted on card. Portrait of Arnulph Mallock, head and shoulders, body facing front but head looking to right nearly in profile, vignetted. Signed by the photographer either on or within the image. It is a copy photograph made soon after Mallock's death in 1933, taken from a group photograph of about 1910. No other likeness was available as Mallock avoided publicity and refused to be photographed. Another (different) version of the copy is xxxx.
