Description
Augsburg type, with silver eight-sided base, compass dial and inset beneath base with names of towns and their latitudes, silver inclinometer, gilt and silver hinged quadrant, and silver broken hour ring set inside a silvered-brass ring with traces of gilt in the decoration. In an octagonal leather case with chamois lining and silver disc in lid names of towns and their latitudes.
