Description
A small fitted wooden case with a hinged lid and metal clasp. It is lined with red velvet and the exterior is covered with fish skin. There is a copper alloy holding plate on the top of the lid. It has two compartments that contain accessories for a compound microscope. 1 base, 1 body tube, 1 eyepiece, 1 black and white disc, 1 ivory slider with mica discs, 1 objective lens slider, 1 circular mirror, 1 lens, 1 cup with screw aperture, 1 arm with accessories holder, 1 square copper alloy box, 1 specimen holder(?) on steel pin, stage forceps, specimen forceps
