Description

This kit consists of a large wooden box with a drawer for parts and two carrying handles. One end opens to reveal a glass screen and two large lenses in wooden frames that slide into grooves. A bar on the floor of the compartment extends through the other end of the box and a stage assembly can fit onto the outside end. A winged key on the side moves the bar for focusing. It can also be adjusted by a copper alloy rod. A boss inside the drawer takes the mount for an eyecup on a telescopic support. The drawer contains nine objectives, one with a Lieberkuhn, a monocular compound microscope with a copper alloy stand and a flat tripod foot, two stages for the lucernal microscope, two live boxes, a cone condenser, a talc box, a fishplate, a spring stage, a threaded copper alloy cylinder, a copper alloy cylinder with two lenses, two ivory sliders and a wooden slider.
