Description
Wooden compound microscope with accessories drawer, German. The instrument (.1) is supported by a turned pillar standing on box base. The body and circular spring stage are supported by arms clamped to the pillar. The body is pasteboard and is decorated with a red and white flower and leaves pattern and pushes into a sleeve. A pasteboard draw tube, with a wooden eyepiece and dust cover, pushes into the body. The nose and objective settings are also wood. An accessories drawer (.2) with a round wood handle slides underneath the base. There are two objectives (.3), a wooden talc box (.4), a glass disk (.5), a wooden slider with specimens (.6) and a slider with dark and light hollows (.7)
