Description

The stage is supported by the cylindrical pillar on the horseshoe foot. An arm at the top of the pillar holds a sleeve in which the body tube slides for coarse focusing. A micrometer screw on the pillar adjusts the fine focus (.1). The eyepiece pushes into the top of the body and the lower end has an internal thread for objectives (.2).
