Description
A short pillar rises from the weighted base to a compass joint that supports the limb. A brass arm on the top of the limb holds the telescopic body tube (.2) in a sleeve within a collar. The fine focus is controlled by a mill-edged knob set on top of the pillar that adjusts its length. Two brass strips are fixed to pegs at the rear of the square brass stage to hold the slides. A rotating brass plate is mounted on the under side of the stage with two apertures and an articulated arm holds the concave mirror in a horseshoe mount.
Telescopic Body Tube held in place by a collar attached to limb.
Objective
