Description
The instrument stands on a cast housing that holds the bulb and its fitting. Above is a frosted glass stage disc and two spring clips. A cylindrical pillar extends vertically from the housing. It can be raised or lowered, for focusing, by turning a collar through which it passes. The objective is held in a bracket that slides on two pins. These are attached to a pivoting mounting on the top of the pillar.
