Description

This microscope is made of wood with a circular base standing on three feet. There is an accessory draw in the base and a horseshoe mount for a mirror which is missing. A turned pillar stands at one edge of the base holding a rectangular stage and an arm supporting the optical components. The body is turned and lined with blue velvet. The inner draw tube is of pasteboard covered with vellum. The lenses are mounted in wooden fittings with wooden dust covers.
