Description

Collection of microscope accessories stored in a wooden case. Case has purple felt lined supports to hold accessories, as well as three removable shelves (.33). Stored in the case are the following accessories:

Four eyepieces (.1), six objectives in cans and two empty objective cans (.2), a camera lucida (.3), an Amici Prism (.4), a Nicol prism polariser (.5), Wenham's parabolic reflector (.6), three Lieberkühn with screw off lids (.7), two dark wells with a dark well holder (.8), glass trough (.9), specimen compressor (.10), three live box stage plates (.11), stage forceps (.12), stage micrometer (.13), silvered parabolic reflector (.14), tweezers (.15), small bulls eye lens on arm (.16), achromatic condenser (.17), large bulls eye lens with stand and base (.18), gradated draw tube (.19), rectangular fish plate with square window (.20), erecting tube (.21), prism polariscope (.22), Nicol prism analyser (.23), Darker's Selenite in can (.24), parabolic hemi-illuminator (.25), triangular prism on arm (.26), prism on sliding arm attached to tube stopper (.27), bottle of oil in a can (.28), hinged wooden box (.29), collection of papers addressed to F.A Dixey of Wadham College (.30), Diary of F.A Dixey relating to use of accessories, dated May 21st 1929 (.31), a handkerchief (.32), and the key to the box (.34)
