Description
There are four objective lenses in Lieberkuhns that may be screwed into a copper alloy ring at the end of an ornate copper alloy arm. This is fixed by a screw to a copper alloy mount carrying stage forceps on steel pin. The other end of the pin has a sharpened point and is threaded to take a copper alloy setting holding black and white disks with specimen clips. The forceps are mounted on a compass joint on a copper alloy bar. The bar is hinged at one end and attached to a spring and screw focusing mechanism. The assembly screws onto a turned ivory handle. The softwood box is covered in black fish skin and lined with green velvet.
