Description
A Baker Series 4 stand incorporating the phase-contrast system designed by F. H. Smith. Model or serial number 1/256. Grey enamel finish. With four eyepieces, six objectives and objective canisters, viewing telescope, sub stage iris diaphragm, goniometer and leather-coated accessories case. In wooden case with carrying handle and key on string, the maker's blue-enamelled metal stud on the box door. Together with instruction booklet dated 1955.
