Description

The stage from a dissecting microscope sits on bun feet which are four screws (one if which is missing) for tying and stretching the specimen. Two hooks on spring mounting are fitted to the rear section of the stage. This form of instrument was designed by the Prussian anatomist Johannes Lieberkuhn in about 1750 and is rare.
